Relationships

          Dream of Mirror Online features a fun and beneficial "personal relationships" system. Everyone, in some way, depends on others, and when you nurture those relationships, you'll not only make great new friends, you'll enjoy the benefits of having someone to back you up in any battle, and perhaps even some exclusive special abilities as well.

          In Dream of Mirror Online, your characters are able to develop three types of close human relationships: 

• Teacher and Student

• Friends

• Lovers

          Anyone can develop these relationships, but other relationships are predestined - depending on your birth date and your Chinese zodiac sign, you'll be connected to certain players by the red string of fate. You may find yourselves to be relatives, rivals, or even a true love via these fated connections - and who knows what may happen after that? It's all up to your initiative!

Grow in friendship as you grow in strength!

           It's important to chat with your friends, but how do you make your relationship official? You need to be in a party with your friend and make your way over to either the Friendship Registrar, Lover's Registrar, or Teaching Assistant near the stairs leading to the Eversun Elder. When both you and your friend approach the registrar and are in the same party, you can choose to "formalize" your relationship by using Dreamstones, which can be dropped by many enemies in the game.

Work on your relationships - Learn special skills

          In the Mirror World, building relationships is an important part of life. Battling together with those you have established relationships with can allow you to use special techniques exclusive to those with relationships! When one friend's health gets low, the other can launch the powerful "Amigo Attack," damaging all enemies nearby. Two lovers with a strong relationship can enable "Loving Kiss," a free heal that'll give back up to 1000 HP! Develop your relationships and see what kind of special techniques you're able to use!

          Like the real world, you have to work on relationships to enhance them in the Mirror World. Characters with established relationships can sometimes team up for special quests or gain special items or titles. As you collect more Dreamstones and use them to raise the level of your relationships, you'll notice greater effects, and at the highest relationship levels, you'll be able to make use of special skills exclusive to that relationship!
